Roughly every 29 years Saturn returns to its original place in your birth chart. It marks the crossing of the threshold into Adulthood. Saturn rules boundaries and work and encourages us to ask the questions “What am I taking with me and what am I leaving behind on the next leg of this journey?” The lead up to this transit and the integration afterwards is a transformative time.

Spanning Brooklyn, upstate New York, the desert of California, Savannah, Georgia and Mexico City, this book follows my journey across the threshold. Through a divorce, a rediscovering of my artist nature, and letting go of a lot of friends, I came out on the other side alive.

You might call this a memoir, you might call it a novel. Either way, it’s a story of reckoning with one’s self— grief, love, sex, drugs, and laying the foundation for the next chapter of life.
